Lizzie - life as a cat

tales from a tuxedo cat

Friends at home

Introducing Gwen the one-eared rabbit and Florence the cat. I don't regard either as a friend and rather resent them sharing my home .Florence's little smile hides a kitten who is a ruthless tease and has invaded my speca big time .Alas, there is little I can do about it!

Muriel the hamster came to share my home early in 2007. A feisty rodent who was eaten a school blouse ,made holes in a towel and chewed her way out of hrt plastic cage.

Coco was my hamster pal in America -he died at the grand old age of 2 and was laid to rest beside the lake in Cary NC .

Treacle

Treacle is really my big sister. I met her soon after coming to Scotland when I accompanied my family on a long drive to Leicester (England) and visited for a few days .We didn't actually meet at close quarters as I felt very aware of being in her territory. She is the subject of many paintings by Katrin Eagle .

Treacle sadly passed away in the summer of 2008 after a short illness at theripe old age of 18. She is immortalised in the 'Treacle 'cushion tapestry kit by Cleopatra's Needle Ltd which is available in outlest all over the UK and furhter afield too.
